CPD Taster Day 2021: Overview
Taster sessions on a variety of professional training topics
Description
After the success of our first virtual CPD Taster Day last summer, the UWS Centre for Continuing Professional Development is delighted to be running our second CPD Taster Day on Tuesday 3rd August 2021, from 10am to 4pm.
Join UWS staff and academics for short digital taster sessions on some of our most popular CPD programmes and explore some of our brand new funded courses that will begin in September 2021.
We will also be hosting a discussion to share the ways in which the UWS CPD Centre can work directly with your business to create bespoke training programmes for your organisation, as well as discussing opportunities for funded training through the UWS Upskilling Fund.
Many of the sessions that we will be hosting have been developed in the context of COVID-19, exploring how this has an ongoing impact on the way that we work, and the importance of continuing to upskill and further our professional development during these challenging and uncertain times as we navigate into a post-COVID-19 world. UWS is committed to supporting local and national communities and industry sectors on their journey to recovery.
All live sessions will take place on Zoom and will be approximately 45 minutes long.
All of the sessions are free to attend, but advanced registration is required to secure your place.
