CPD Taster Session: Digital Marketing

Digital Marketing is core to the success of branding and promotion of organisations of all size in today’s economy, in all sectors, in all regions of the world

Description

Digital Marketing is core to the success of branding and promotion of organisations of all size in today’s economy, in all sectors, in all regions of the world.

Our Digital Marketing Practice module draws upon modern digital marketing practices and traditional marketing theory, with a focus on the digital marketing needs of companies operating in both the B2B and B2C sectors.  The nature of Digital Marketing necessitates a need to be up-to-date with current practices and developments within the industry and for marketers to be able to make an immediate and effective contribution to an organisation's digital presence.

This module is essential for those who are keen to master essential digital marketing practices such as Social media management, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), PPC Campaign Management, Inbound Marketing Management and Content Management.

This taster session will be run by Theo Tzanidis, Senior Lecturer in Digital Marketing.  Theo will give an overview of the module, course entry requirements and assessment methods.

This CPD programme is closely aligned with the Digital Marketing Practice module from our full time MSc Digital Marketing with the Digital Marketing Institute.  Participants that successfully complete this CPD course and can provide evidence of 3years of experience in a business or marketing related role, may proceed to register to the MSc Digital Marketing with DMI with 20 credits at SCQF Level 11.

This taster session will last around 45 minutes including time for questions.

This session is free to attend but advanced registration is required.   A link to join the session will be sent to the email that you have registered with.
