CPD Taster Day

Taster sessions on a variety of professional training topics

Description

The UWS Centre for Continuing Professional Development is delighted to be hosting a virtual taster day to showcase the best of our CPD programmes.

Join UWS staff and academics for free online sessions on a wide variety of topics from project management and mental health and mindfulness, to digital marketing and frailty in older people. We will also be hosting a discussion to share the ways in which the CPD Centre can work directly with your business to create bespoke training programmes for your organisation, as well as discussing opportunities for funded training through the UWS Upskilling Fund.

Many of the sessions that we will be hosting have been developed in the context of COVID-19, exploring how this has impacted the way that we work, and the importance of continuing to upskill and further our professional development during these challenging and uncertain times as we navigate into a post-COVID-19 world.  UWS is committed to supporting local and national communities and industry sectors on their journey to recovery.

The virtual taster day will run on Wednesday 26th August 2020 and will run from 9.30am to 4pm.

Sessions will run throughout the day as follows:

While all of the sessions are free, we would ask that you register here for each session you wish to attend.
