Taster Session: Mental Health & Mindfulness for Managers

Whether your organisation is continuing to operate with staff working from home, or is beginning to take steps to return to the normal working environment, it is vital that we understand how we can support our own mental health as well as that of others around us in the workplace.

Covid-19 has had a huge impact on the way that we work, play and conduct even the most basic of daily tasks.  As we begin to emerge from lockdown, we move into a world that in many ways will never be the same.  

Whether your organisation is continuing to operate with staff working from home, or is beginning to take steps to return to the normal working environment, it is vital that we understand how we can support our own mental health as well as that of others around us in the workplace. 

In this taster session, our trainers will be discussing the following: 

  • How can we alter embedded habits and develop new habits to help us deal with the transition to the ‘new normal’?  
  • How can we mentally prepare and support ourselves and our staff through this time of uncertainty as we return to work?  
  • Mindfulness practices, suitable for all levels, that we can weave into the working day, including breathing exercises, meditations and body scanning 

The session will last around 30-45 minutes.
