Description
The Educational Research module (PGES11001) is shared by a number of UWS School of Education and Social Sciences, Division of Education programmes including the MEd Education Studies and the MEd TESOL. The module aims to introduce students to key principles of educational research as a means of preparing them for a small-scale study on a topic of professional interest that is aligned with the students’ specialism.
The module introduces students to research paradigms, examines the role of the literature review in research, covers ethics, and considers key features of research design.
