Theatre Workshops

Description

The Theatre Workshops module (PERF08006) is designed to equip learners with a toolkit for delivering practical drama workshops in a range of contexts.  The module is delivered over four day-long sessions, in which students have opportunities to experiment with a range of drama workshop activities including warm-up games, exercises for focus, energy, collaboration, trust, character development, improvisation and imagination.

This is an SCQF Level 8 module and upon successful completion, participants will be awarded 20 credits.

 

CPD for teachers of Music and English aiming to dual-qualify in Drama

This module is part of a suite of four modules designed to enhance knowledge and understanding of Drama, Theatre and Performance, equipping learners with the skills to teach Drama in secondary school contexts. These modules are well suited to teachers of Music and English who are looking to dual-qualify in Drama.

Upon completion successful completion of these modules, you will be able to access an academic transcript highlighting credits gained. You will need to submit evidence of your study when applying for Additional Professional Registration.

  • Monday 10th March 2025: Online, 6pm to 8pm
  • Monday 17th March 2025: Online, 6pm to 8pm
  • Saturday 22nd March 2025: Ayr campus, 10am to 4pm
  • Monday 14th April 2025: Online, 6pm to 8pm
  • Saturday 26th April 2025: Ayr campus, 10am to 4pm
