Taster Session: Psychological Trauma Informed Workplaces

As our awareness of psychological trauma grows, it is important to understand the impact it can have on lives of people who experience it; whether these be family members, neighbours, friends, colleagues, clients or staff.

Description

As our awareness of psychological trauma grows, it is important to understand the impact it can have on lives of people who experience it; whether these be family members, neighbours, friends, colleagues, clients or staff.

This taster session will briefly summarise:

  • what psychological trauma is
  • explain why knowing this matters to the betterment of all, and
  • explore how to, and some of the challenges of, making a workplace 'trauma-informed'

This session will begin on 1.30pm on Wednesday 26th August and we expect the session will last around 45 minutes (including time for questions).

This session is free to attend but advanced registration is required.  A link to join the session will be sent to the email that you have registered with.
