This flexible approach enables participants to balance postgraduate study with professional commitments while developing practical AI capabilities that can be applied directly within project environments.
Course content
The course explores how Artificial Intelligence can enhance project management from project initiation through to closure. Participants will develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to apply AI responsibly across the project lifecycle, using contemporary tools and techniques to improve decision-making, optimise workflows and support successful project delivery.
- AI Foundations for Project Management
Develop an understanding of the latest AI concepts, technologies and tools, exploring how Artificial Intelligence is reshaping project management practice and creating new opportunities for project professionals.
- Integrating AI Across the Project Lifecycle
Explore how AI can support every stage of project delivery, from project initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, control and project closure.
- AI-Enabled Planning and Decision Support
Learn how AI can be used to analyse project data, generate insights, support scenario planning, optimise resource allocation and improve project performance through evidence-based decision-making.
- Prompt Engineering and Intelligent Workflows
Develop practical skills in prompt engineering, data structuring and workflow optimisation to maximise the quality, relevance and effectiveness of AI-generated outputs within project environments.
- Responsible and Ethical AI Practice
Examine the ethical, governance and compliance considerations associated with AI adoption, enabling you to evaluate the responsible use of AI tools in professional project management practice.
- Applying AI to Real-World Project Challenges
