International Summer School Green Leadership Programme

The University of the West of Scotland (UWS) is a modern applied skills-oriented university renowned for its technology, innovation and industry-university integration.  In the past years, UWS provided a series of Future Entrepreneurs International Summer Schools.  In 2024, UWS proudly presents the International Summer School Green Leadership Programme which is now open to students from our international partner universities.  During the programme, students will not only learn professional knowledge and skills in carbon auditing but also will have access to the leadership enhancement courses designed by the Entrepreneurial Scotland Foundation and other training content designed by UWS to enhance international students' abilities to study and live in the UK. 

About the Programme 

The International Summer School Green Leadership Programme is open to international students from all academic levels and research backgrounds.  Successful applicants will participate in an entrepreneurial project in teams and present their entrepreneurial project outcomes in a roadshow at the end of the programme.  Projects will be evaluated and scored by a panel of internal experts from UWS and external experts from the industry.  Awards will be given to the three top scored projects/teams. 

Participants who complete the programme will be awarded a certificate of completion.

Fees

£2,880 per person, including:

• Programme fee
• Accommodation (3-star hotel or equivalent with 2 people sharing a standard twin bedroom, or student accommodation in single ensuite room with shared kitchen) 

NOT included in course fee: 

• flight tickets between country of origin and the UK
• visa application fee
• meals
• non-programme specified transportation in the UK
• individual spend and any other costs that not specified
