Penetration Testing Programming (Python)
Description
The Penetration Testing Programming module (COMP11097) uses the Python programming language to help students develop some of the skills required to create programs to manipulate data and interrogate online databases.
Students require to have previous experience of programming, preferably in Python.
On successful completion of this module the student will be able to:
- Systematically design and implement a programming solution to a problem relating to penetration testing
- Systematically design and implement an appropriate test strategy
- Produce appropriate supporting documentation, including justification of design decisions and implementation solutions made during the development of the program
This is an SCQF Level 11 module and upon successful completion, participants will be awarded 10 credits.
Delivery
This module will run for 12 weeks. Delivery will take place every Monday 1-4pm at the Lanarkshire campus.
