This course is for offer holders for the Postgraduate Diploma in Career Guidance and Development, who are seeking to refresh their academic skills prior to starting the programme.
Using a combination of self-directed study of Open Educational Resources, study skills resources and career and study planning tools, delegates are supported to develop understanding of key principles underpinning the PG Dip programme and develop their academic study skills.
Audience: aspiring careers advisers; training providers; employability advisers; trainee careers advisers; offer holders for the PG Dip.
Delivery
This course will be delivered live online and is supported with self-directed study.
It is equivalent to 10 credits at SCQF Level 11.
Duration: 4 x 60 minute workshop sessions plus self-directed study to total 30 hours. Students are also required to submit an assessment, for which written feedback will be provided.
