Career Guidance and Development: CPD Course 2

CIAG Practitioner-Led Research 2 (Research in the Workplace: Research Project)

Description

Do you have a workplace-based research project you are ready to start working on?  This course supports you to ensure your project is robust, through the data collection, write up and analysis stages and provides clear ideas on how to engage in the promotion of your research activity.  While this course is an ideal follow on to CIAG Practitioner-Led Research 1 (Research Proposal) it is not essential to have completed it prior to this course.  Upon completion of your project, you may wish to progress on to the UWS Career Guidance and Development MSc top up module.

Audience: career advisers; career counsellors; career coaches; career development professionals; career leaders; career managers.

Delivery

This course is delivered entirely online.

It is equivalent to 5 credits at SCQF Level 11.

There is approximately five hours of live content with the course tutor.  This is likely to take place on Zoom or Microsoft Teams. More information will be given to delegates in advance of course commencement.  Participants are also required to take part in one 30 minute verbal discussion and allocate sufficient time to work through the online resources on our virtual learning environment.
