Mental Health, Resilience and Communication

Description

This three hour session will address personal and professional challenges associated with working independently in high-pressure roles. 

We will cover:

  • Challenges associated with working away from the office, and away from home
  • ‘The thin green line’
  • Managing perceptions of the environmental industry
  • Managing perceptions of compliance roles
  • Managing feelings of pressure within stressful situations
  • Developing resilience
  • Conflict negotiation and communication skills

Overview

Sessions will be led by industry and academic experts; delegates will be required to participate through a combination of interactive activities, discussion forums, break out groups and case study development.  The main sessions will be hosted on Zoom so a reliable internet connection, web camera and microphone will be required.  Sessions will be recorded and then posted in a secure site for delegates to access and review at a later date.
