This module explores the complex internal and external organisational relationships.
Those undertaking this module will develop and in-depth understanding of the conflicting requirements of different stakeholder groups and will examine approaches to managing these organisational relationships including negotiation, influencing and effective networking.
Participants will explore the changing expectations of customers, employees, governments, and other stakeholders and develop knowledge of how to develop common purpose and skills in conflict management and dispute resolution. Participants will also develop consultative skills and attributes to enable effective engagement with a wide range of stakeholders in a professional and advisory capacity.

Target audience & pre-requisites
This module is aimed at anyone working in a managerial role. While there are no formal pre-requisites for this, it is expected that participants have practical experience in managing stakeholder relationships.
This is an SCQF Level 10 module, and upon successful completion, participants will be awarded 20 credits. Participants will also receive certification to demonstrate completion of the course.
This course will last for 12 weeks. Participants are required to attend 1 x 2-hour live session each week, alongside completing online learning on our virtual learning environment.

This module will be delivered by Dr Robert Crammond and Dr Eunice Oke.
Dr Robert Crammond is a Senior Lecturer in Enterprise at University of the West of Scotland (UWS). His academic interests lie in enterprise and entrepreneurship education and progressing contemporary, enterprise-centric stakeholder theory. A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and Management and Business Educator (CMBE), Dr Crammond also teaches and coordinates across many disciplines, including subjects such as organisational behaviours and stakeholder relationships, leadership theory and practice, human resource management, organisational development and addressing business and managerial research skills.
This module is co-presented by Dr Eunice Oke, Lecturer in Business and Management at UWS. Eunice's academic interests lie in strategy and inter-organisational relationships, especially fostering network and inter-firm collaborations. Eunice teaches and coordinates several modules across the Management discipline, including influencing organisational strategy, understanding organisations in society, organisational performance management, professional development, managing organisational relationships and understanding research skills.
