The Government-backed Help to Grow Management programme is delivered in collaboration with industry experts and experienced entrepreneurs who will provide you with the knowledge, practical skills and accountability to help your business reach its full potential.

The 12-week programme consisting of 1:1 mentor support, interactive webinars and workshops, aims to help SMEs across the UK design and develop a bespoke growth plan that will result in increased productivity, increased revenue and will ultimately help take your business to the next level.

We are thrilled to announce that we will be joined by Hisashi Kuboyama, West of Scotland Development Manager for Federation of Small Business in Scotland. Hisashi will be joining the webinar to speak to participants about the Help to Grow programme and the importance of developing vital leadership skills when running a small business.

You'll have the opportunity to hear from Patrick Afchain, Help to grow Project Lead at UWS. Providing an overview of the Help to Grow: Management programme, Patrick will discuss eligibility criteria, course content, mentoring opportunities, funding and associated costs, and more.

Also joining us is Dr Alan Murray. Before joining UWS, Alan was a business adviser for the lead enterprise agency in Scotland: Business Gateway, delivering enterprise training, advisory and consultancy support to over 1000 new and existing businesses from all sectors. Prior to this Alan was a Regional Enterprise Manager for the main provider of enterprise support for young people: The Prince’s Scottish Youth Business Trust. In this capacity he assisted over 500 entrepreneurs to start and grow their own businesses. Alan is also is an experienced entrepreneur in his own right having run his own adventure recreation business for 20 years.
