Growing Digital Communities: Third sector and non profit organisations

Techniques and strategies to create value by building strong digital communities.

Description

In this session we will be covering major social media community platforms, and we will be providing techniques and strategies that will allow charities to create value by building strong digital communities. Participants will learn to convert social media activity to commitment, loyalty and engagement and social capital. What are the components of a healthy digital community? How it can influence policy? This is not a theoretical workshop, we will be providing the platform the processes required to develop community building online so participants are encouraged to bring their work and case studies to implement into practice.

The course is part of our Digital Marketing Workshop Series.

UWS offers several suites of bespoke, business programmes, tailored to an organisation’s needs.  This course can be delivered either face-to-face or via online learning (typically through a series of virtual sessions of no more than two hours each, supported by self-paced materials delivered through our learning management system).  Please contact us at cpd@uws.ac.uk for further details on how we could deliver this course for your organisation.
